Electrical Systems Failure, Caused By MIC 2.0 Leak

I just accepted delivery of a 2021 Ford Bronco, with the Black Diamond Trim. I have a serious problem. The MIC 2.0 removable top, that I waited 4months and 6 days for FORD to replace leaked. The leak caused electrical system failure and potentially damaged multiple electrical systems and components. I am attaching A vehicle System Health report I pulled this morning. I did not clear the DTC codes as of yet. I will be sending a copy of this report, to the National Highway Safety Administration along with a formal complaint. I am also going to post my results on this forum.

Now I am confused...... I thought these things were supposed to be able to endure getting wet inside, (hence the drains in the floors, the marine grade vinyl seats (marketed as washout interior), etc.
Even a leaky top should introduce less water than having the top off in an unexpected rainstorm.
Bottom line is that I feel doubly bad for Frank because of these failures. Sure hope they can be resolved permanently and quickly by your dealer.

Some are trash, sure. But are you taking the 10’s of thousands of silent owners into consideration? Only the affected are vocal, making a blanket statement like that is silly. Soft top, 2.7, windshield wipers must be trash, too?

Not trying to be an ass here, but this sounds like an end of the story and I am lost as to what led to this point.

So do I have this right, there was a leak that occurred since you took delivery (or sometime while in ford's hands before delivery), vehicle appeared fine at delivery and you left but then noticed problems (or leak occurred after causing problems) that are either major making it undriveable or drivable but with many things not working?

That would really suck.

Or, does the vehicle seem fine, but you have some suspicion because of evidence of a leak so did a diagnostic and uncovered that looks like massive amounts of issues?

Many times strange electrical issues are due to a bad ground. Has the ground near the fuse block been checked since it has been reported that many have had issues.

Not implying your diagnosis is incorrect just adding a suggestion.

The switch bank in the center of the dash board filled with water from the roof leak. I went to get a rag and the water had disapeared into the dashboard. The next time I started the vehical the electrical system went crazy and displayed 12 error messages. When I pulled the health report All electrical system failures were no logger displayed on the instrument cluster and all systems seem to be operating as normal.

I think its protected from some water intrusion, a sprinkling, it is not IP67 waterproof. "hosing down" should be done gently, to only the floor area. some sprinkling on the vinyl seats will be OK, but getting water on the IP could easily go very wrong..

It was filled to the top with water, when I returned with a rag the water was gone. There were major electrical system failures immediately after that. The roof was on when I washed the vehicle.

Do you think it was a sealing problem or something else? You do know they’re going to accuse you of not properly reinstalling the roof panels, so I hope you have plenty of pictures and maybe video.

Messed up that this happened with the newer roof and hope it was some sort of fluke.
