Can anyone tell me why the part (M2DZ-11654-DC) says "without blind spot warning"? I have the high package and want to make sure i order the right part.
DC is the correct one for High/Lux package with front fog lights, but no rear fog light.

I’m not sure where you’re looking that it says without blind spot, but that’s not correct.

It comes to the uphill side and is located behind left rear tire . You need to tie in there by adding a pin and wire or just purchase the rear harness. If you prefer easy over $. There is a pin out up above in the thread.

George
@geoking

Link to said harness? Pretty please, with Hershey syrup on top?

This is the the connector i have right behind the rear driver side tire:

I am looking for the correct headlight switch number. Best I can tell I should get a M2DZ-11654-AC. But the description at Ford parts online, says without blindspot.

I have a OBX. With blind spot, puddle spots, MOD bumper, and the LUX package. Looking for front fog only.

AC switch doesn’t have the puddle or spot lights.

You would need DC for Lux package with front fogs only.

Don’t worry about the description on the website. It’s incorrect. AC and DC both are with blind spot.

Thanks for the info. I will order that one.

Here’s a single fog without puddle lights.....
Take note that it doesn’t have a connector to add the puddle module (at screw driver )

Fyi... don't know if this os the right place to post this but I just tested the amp draw at the actual factory fog light...pulled 0.27 Amps (for 1).

Seems like one of the well known plug and play solution works out to a bit over 1 amp which is much higher than the factory. Not saying the OEM wiring and circuits can't handle it, but I was really hoping that factory fog we're pulling a bit more power so I knew for sure how much I can safely pull through that switch.

I guess I relay (edited for spelling) would be required for any normal aftermarket fogs.

The fog lights I’m running are pulling about 6 amps and I’ve never had any issues.

So that's just running off the factory power plug source that the stock fog lights use? No relays or such? That put you close to 80 watts ... Or is that 6 amps total? 3 amps per fog for 40w?

Correct. All factory wiring. Both lights combined are 80 watts, 40 per side. So about 6 amps total

Well thanks... Just canceled my Amazon order and bought a different pair. I had some really low watt ones on order but now I'll try some better ones (yet still cheap)

  • SKU:M2DZ-11654-DC
  • Description:
Bronco. With fog lamps. Without blind spot warning.
  • Replaces:M2DZ-11654-DA, M2DZ-11654-DB

Not sure which website you're looking at, but like I said that's not correct.

Here is what the actual ford catalog shows:

M2DZ-11654-DC
Switch Assy - Headlamps,
  • Du Pwr/Fld/Heat/Puddle Lamp/BLS/SPT, Front Fog Lamps-LED, Less Rear Fog Lamps
(Power/fold/heat/puddle lamps/blind spot/spot lamps/front fog lamps, no rear fog lamps)

I believe you, i'm just wondering if they are referring to the one with the gas cap button and not the mirror lights. I need the mirror lights. And of course they don't have a picture of the part.

That link doesn't seem to work.
Also I'm not sure what you mean by the gas cap button. None of the broncos have a gas cap button on the headlight switch, or anywhere else.
