What is this addition about?! Why?! Is it for aesthetics?!

As I pointed out above, likely for aero and/or wind noise with the wider track and more exposed components because of that. I'd imagine they're detachable themselves, and worst case scenario, attached to the removable portion of the modular bumper.

If it is really only 350 hp then that’s a hint it still has the 10R60 transmission and isn’t upgraded to the 10R80.

Not saying I am against it, but when the take rate on a B6G enthusiast sight of the 2 door barley hits 35% that kinda explains it. Real world will be 4:1 or 5:1 just like Jeep. Most don't want a 2-door.
