Not sure why you think this is holding you up or that you cant have it. Its a very close to stock bronco (probably badlands based on the OEM factory locking diff in front) with almost entirely bolt on parts. You could duplicate this thing in your garage, which is what makes it cool.

You apparently missed the context of my post.

When? When can I do that in my garage? On the Bronco I reserved on 7/13.

Yeah. I know I can. I plan to have Fox coilovers ready to go as soon as they hit the market. You missed my point completely.

I will express how I feel with a joke.

A doctor says to his patient, I have good news and bad news. Which do you want first?
The patient says "I'll take the bad news first."
The doctor says "You have 6 months to live."
The patient says "That's terrible... so what's the good news?"
The doctor says "I've been sleeping with my secretary."
Another Doctor joke: Doc says, I have bad news and good news. Patient says, what's the bad news? Doc says, you were here for a knee joint replacement, and we amputated both your legs by mistake. The Patient says, what's the good news? The doc says, Hey! The guy down the hall wants to buy your slippers.

People don't care about something that they can't have themselves. Look here's a truck you will never own isn't awesome.

Me 2. Loving it !!!!!!.................... all those cool parts being developed so I can buy them later and upgrade my Bronc.

Portal axles, longer control arms, RCV axles. 🙌

Thought is was another good point that they kept the factory front Dana but replaced the rear with a 60. Interesting.
Loved the front bumper design (with potential lower winch mount) and the aggressive fender flares as well.

Other cool stuff they could have also revealed:
  • A Star Wars-type hovercraft.
  • Robots that do my bidding.
  • A flying car because George Jetson promised me one.
  • A helmet to put on my cat so I can read her thoughts.
  • Shoes with rockets on them, or a rocket pack I can wear to fly around.
  • A coffeemaker for my Bronco.
But no. They didn't think, now did they?

I haven’t watched the unveiling video, but the 4600 truck is cool! Yeah sure you all guessed what it would be, and you were wrong, and Ford is the bad guy for it.
Right.
There are a lot of cool features on this build showing what we can do with a stock Bronco. If you think you can never do or afford any of it, you’re probably right. It will take work, commitment saving and so on. To say you can’t have this for your own, is selling yourself short.
I LOVE the spare tire carrier and is something I envisioned on my Bronco even before this reveal. Portals? Awesome! Expensive? Yeah. Obtainable? Yes.

Sorry it wasn’t your green, white topped, retro warthog model R. I think it’s awesome and has my imagination kicked into overdrive. Now excuse me while I drool over the pictures...

Geez, Tough Crowd...

They're literally at a race showing off race trucks. So they showed off all their race trucks. It does make sense...*shrug*

I think the 4600 is pretty badass. Good looking livery too.
I wonder if we created our own let down here...Agreed I think it's pretty sweet and the fact they are going to be racing a basically stock unit w some tweeks is bad ass. If we hadn't whipped ourselves into a warthog induced frenzy would we really be that let down? just saying. ;)

May not be a "big whoop" to the average person but the gearheads are in heaven.

Exactly, all the speculation got everyone whipped into a frenzy and now everyone is mad at Ford. Silliness if you ask me.
