@BigMeatsBronco @Bmadda What do y'all think about this? Do y'all know if the HD rack works in a 4dr non-Sas?
We know it works, but we don't know if the procal supports it. Worst case you would have to do it the way we were doing it before procal. @Snacktime and @zuke are both non-sas 4dr I believe, and they did successful swaps in the very early days of Hoss 3.0

The old way works with all trims, you have to use a VIN from a 2023 Wildtrak when HOSS 3.0 was an added option.

So any 2024 is good to go? Or they just haven’t updated the listing?
I haven't tried to program a 2024, but hit me up when I come over to pick up the tires and we can easily find out. Just let me know if you want to try a rack I programmed earlier and that should answer the question.

My 2022 Wildtrak Hoss 3.0 VIN donor seems to work for all the racks I programmed.

Don’t be teasing me with your badass rack 🤣.
But seriously that’s a good plan. Thanks!

The racks work on any Bronco. The programming is the key. You might want to hit up mpeugeot with what that will require for your specific setup so you know more than the Ford dealership you'll take it to.
That makes sense. I can't think of any mechanical reason it wouldn't work in any Bronco. Just Ford doesn't want to take the time to figure out the software.

Update: I installed the FP severe steering rack, it drove like shh, obviously. I took it in to my local ford dealer "sunrise ford" in Fontana, CA. They weren't competent enough to figure out the program. Another thread recommended I try ford in North hills, CA. I called them. They recommended me to G.A.S the famous galpin auto sports. I called them and......I explained to them the situation. The service advisor knew EXACTLY what I was talking about and what had to be done. From programming the new steering rack to a new VIN and then using the ford procal tool to finish it off. I have an appt Friday. So I'll update once it's all complete!

According to my conversations with ford engineer the programing from procal needs to be downloaded to bronco before removing old rack…have tune loaded into bronco and rack download in procal…will download rack program into bronco Wednesday before I plan to do the rack install…wish me luck
