I got it, and my dealer is also fighting me on it. Did you only speak with someone at the dealership level?
I’ve spoke with dealership and with Ford pass rewards customer service. I still haven’t seen the extra 220k. What was your build spec and did you have to change anything on your order to get your Bronco?

This was per Ford Authority back in December:

In an email sent out to reservation holders, Ford stated that at the time of delivery, Ford Bronco buyers will earn 42,000 FordPass rewards points (over $200 value) to use toward maintenance, service, accessories, and more at their local Ford dealer. On top of that, Ford is adding an additional 20,000 rewards points at the time of delivery, which adds up to 62,000 points, or an over $300 value.

It’s a bonus for Bronco reservation holders after they received word that deliveries have been pushed back at least a month, and possibly longer, due to a COVID-19 related supplier issue.

Are they saying you aren’t eligible for the 220k despite the email? Like the email was a mistake? Because I received ‘the email’ this past Monday, July 12th, i.e., several days after you guys had already brought the issue up, so they shouldn’t have still been sending that email out mistakenly. I think the 220k is legit, not sure who/why is making it difficult?

Yep, we’ve all gotten the 42 and 20. It’s the other 200 that we’re fighting for.

Never fear, B6G friends, I will stop at nothing to get the other 200000. 😁 my dealer called the rewards line. I got an email to forward the email I have to…that person is supposed to escalate…however, I got no response from the person I sent it to, and I sent another email asking for confirmation of receipt. Still nothing. So I’ll call. I have a claim number, from when I called the rewards line. I sent “the person” that # and the original email from Ford. Will continue to update you!

My point was that these points should have been awarded at the time of purchase for those that added the vehicle then to FordPass. Has anyone experienced this? I wonder also if the 220k was a typo and they meant to say 20k?

Dealer employee here, the extra FordPass points have to be credited to your account at the time of purchase by the dealership. People that had originally ordered a First Edition, Painted Hard top, or Dual Tops are eligible for the 200k points on top of the normal 42k you get with a new vehicle purchase. I'll put a screenshot of the portal where we add the points below!

Yes, My dealership has a Bronco Specialist. I sent him the email and he's now checking on it. Great guy, but he didn't seam too optimistic about 220k points being given out

I guess the “fight” we’re in though, is because of the email we all got after we picked up our Broncos that says we are eligible as early reservation holders.

My dealership “didn’t realize they were the ones who had to push the 20k points through at date of purchase”. Once I called and told them they needed to, I had the points right away. Seems there needs to be some additional dealer training. I was also the first Bronco they got - and still have gotten - so I’m the guinea pig

You were “Eligible” if you got a wildtrak or FE. That’s every sale you ever see discount “up to”

That’s what my dealer told me… that being said the email I received said nothing about that. No fine print no eligibility criteria, all it said is you will get 220k. I have a case open that is supposed to be looked at.

This is clipped from the March 25th email I received from Ford, It does not matter which model you ordered only that you ordered one of these top options.

Black Painted Modular Hard Top & Dual Top Roof Update

In October of 2020, we told you that the black painted modular hard top and dual top roofs were not going to be available for the start of production this summer. At that time, we believed we could still offer these features as a late summer availability option for 2021 model year. However, due to the continued effects of COVID-19 on our supplier, the black painted modular hard top and dual top roofs will unfortunately not be available until 2022 model year.

Customers who currently have the black painted modular hard top or dual top roof selected will have the following options (your MSRP price will be adjusted accordingly):

  1. Order the carbonized gray molded-in-color hard top roof (you can see a version here)
  2. Order the black soft top roof (with exception of Wildtrak and 2-door) (you can see a version here)
  3. Wait for black painted modular hard top or dual top roof option for 2022 model year
To make it right for not being able to get the roof option you selected, we will provide 200,000 FordPass Rewards Points ($1,000 value) if you take delivery of a 2021 model year Bronco. Since all roof options will be available for 2022 model year, only those who take delivery of their Bronco in 2021 will be eligible for this offer. We hope you'll use these points to personalize your Bronco including several roof accessory choices through Ford Accessories. Your dealer will have more details on these options in the coming weeks and can also explain the redemption process.
