My guess is that reservations will go well into if not the entire ‘22 MY.

Dealers were given 1-2 "priority" builds. This would allow those 1 or 2 lucky folks to be put at the very front of the line. Who knows, could be friends, family or preferred customers...but that's what it is.

It’s nothing new but some dealers have “loyal” customers. Imagine someone who drops tons of money or is a big car collector, they get super special treatment. Then you also have some that are internet famous, Ford wants the free social media advertising.

I'm good with it. If I had a customer who reliably bought a new vehicle from me every year, I would take care of them too. It's just 1 build for almost all dealers, so it shouldn't be a big deal.
