Some of you might wonder why I made this thread, lets bring on the foot fetish photos!

Lets start with M-3429-BR Ford Performance CV-Axles!
Passenger side inner looks the same as M190 CV Axles

Here is the drivers side inner, this one I'm not to sure of. Put it next to my Broken inner to compare.
Ford Bronco Front differential discussion 1692978483491

Now my broken inner next to a M190 Drivers Side inner CV.

I will update this when I pull mine out to swap. I need to measure the how far in the roller bearings sit to confirm fitment.

Next up is the M210 uses a deeper inner & outers therefore has more internal travel. So good news for you M210 owners, your less likely to over extend a cv. Just you can see it in the other pictures below but here is what I am talking about.

Oh the M210 cvs are bigger, pictures of proof!

Shafts look the same thickness but the boots are different.

Bigger diameter should also provide increased allowable angle before shaft hits outer edge, producing better kinematics. Probably only minor (~10%) but better nonetheless.

@Snacktime, So the CV bells are bigger, but are the spline count the same 190 vs 210 axles?

29 spline input on both m190 and m210. Just need to confirm the drivers side length and bearing race.

Will be nice to determine if you can just interchange parts and slowly build the front end.

Honestly 29 spline is pretty good for a stock axle too. Good stuff man thanks for sharing!

So did the axle tube come with the bearing and seal required for install?
Yes, it came with those. The only thing that needed to be removed from stock and reused was the mount bushing. I spoke with Tyler and he is going to try to get a source for those as Ford has them backordered. Nothing wrong with using the stock one IMO.

Nothing to out there about what is provided. Took me 3 weeks to get the CV axle seals so it nice he is sourcing them.

So the m210 drive CV is 1" longer than m190. It fits but is just to long and the seal will not seal.
Ford Bronco Front differential discussion PXL_20230831_231859082

The other issue is there is no bearing supporting the drivers CV. The CV is metal on metal through the carrier to the spider gears. Look closely you can see the bearing is supporting the carrier. I thought the bearing was seized initially.
Ford Bronco Front differential discussion PXL_20230831_230514628

Here you can see gouging on the shaft from rubbing on the carrier. It took me 3 hours with a slide hammer to get this pos out.
Ford Bronco Front differential discussion PXL_20230831_225647091

Very disappointed in the design. A simple roller bearing would easily prevent the damage. This is going to be a issue with both the m190 and m210. We need to find a bearing that fits inside to eliminate the play that can be pressed in behind the seal. This should also help with keeping the seal alive since I had to change both sides here at 5k miles.

My m190 drivers cv was stuck too, I seperated the joint finally yanking on it and eventually got the inner loose after I pulled the diff with it still in. I had to use two 2' pry bars and then I slid it back in messing with it and it got stuck again and i tossed it in the corner lol

Good info!

@Snacktime Man that is nuts 😲. It looks like the axle was just spinning inside of the bearing race without any oil to get galled up like that. Judging by the 3 hrs. to get it out sounds like it siezed up in there  . What does the carrier race look like? is it gouged?
