That radar sensor right in the middle is a hassle. With a plastic bumper, Ford can mount it off to the side. Modular bumper has it centered because it needs to be exposed.

I happen to already have a picture of sensor location for Flex/Explorer

I bet the intercooler is there. My friends 2011 f150 has the plate mounted on the side of the bumper because of intercooler.

I have never been a fan of the Antimatter Blue, thinking it looked too "black", but boy it is beautiful shined up and against the snow.
As for the plate holder, I think they finally have it right.

I don’t see a problem with that location.

Front plates are required in my state. On the other hand, we have no sales tax. Thats a good trade off.

I do not personally care about front plates for the most part, I have an AZ flag plate on my Jeep. But that is really bad lol.

It sucks but at least it's not blocking the grille. I'll def get the black/yellow alt plate (California) so it blends in better.

I'm just hoping the dealership will honor my request of not mounting it prior to me driving off. If that works with existing holes in the modular bumper I'm fine with it and I'll just remove it myself. I don't want holes in something that is brand new. Toyota did not honor my request and mounted a plate on my Tacoma. Luckily I planned on changing that piece out shortly after delivery but it was still annoying driving around with two holes in my brand new $40k vehicle..

That AMB 2-door in the snow just looks amazing! The only thing that would make it better is an OBX grill...and a step. Maybe some OBX wheels. Yeah, that's perfect!

I don't know about that license plate though.
