Nobody can say my OEM Goodyear Territory RTs don’t have consistent performance over time.

After 25,000 miles, they still pick up just as many goddamn rocks as they did when they were new.

Now that i’m back from my 2.5 hour visit to the dealership for oil change, recalls, and 5-tire rotation, I get to spend another 15 fun-filled minutes picking rocks out of my spare before I put my tire cover back on.

If you're putting the cover on, why bother picking out the rocks?
To prevent damage to the cover due to vibration and friction with those rocks.

Ditto. Took a muddy trail ride this morning ... then drove 30 minutes home. I could hear stones kicking loose for the first 5 minutes back on paved roads. Figured I lost most of them, but when I got home, those Territory tires still had quite a bit of "territory" in them. 🤨

When I hit pavement after being on dirt roads I always wonder if I should feel bad for showering rocks at some random dumba$$ that always seems to show up and tailgate.
I cringe and am more concerned with my "mobile popcorn machine."

It's not just the Goodyear tires, it's pretty much any AT or MT tire will pick up rocks/stones/pebbles. I've had Goodyear, BFG, General, Amp, Ohtani, the old Sears AT's. Our local boat ramp is on a stone road and every time I use it for the boat, when I get up to the first section of pavement, I pull over and walk around to pop out all the rocks. I don't want something launching at somebody coming the other direction on my way home, plus I've had them fly out and hit the underside of all my trucks. They usually hit the nerf bars or side steps depending on what you have.
