Does anyone have any recommendations for halogen yellow ditch lights on the A pillar?

Looking specifically for halogen as LEDs are not hot enough to melt the snow on the lens.

Not planning to run them with oncoming traffic but it would be helpful in snow conditions on back roads.

Never tried it myself, but could you not spray some de-icer on the LED lens to keep snow and ice off? There’s lots of different options on the market.

I feel like the light output and longevity outweigh the benefits of a halogen melting ice/snow, but that’s just my opinion.

I just saw somewhere, where they were testing/measuring the heat on various LED lights.
The Diode Dynamics S3 MAX ran very very hot.
I would think snow melt would not be an issue at temps over 200* on the case and 160* on the lense.

As a side note, I've had plenty of issues with halogen headlamps icing up over the years, so it may be worse with cooler running LEDS , but old tech isn't always as glorious as we make it out be.

My Diode Dynamic SS3's have no problem melting the snow, they run pretty hot.
