HELP a girl out!!! My Bronco got lost and then sold!!!!

I ordered my Eruption Green Outer Banks 2 1/2 years ago! Then in the start of June I got notice that it came off the line. Now the dealership is saying they cant find it, it sold and/or it is in California!!!! My Ford account says that it was sold!!! I am so mad, depressed and down right livid!! Anyone else had this happen? Do you know what my next step is? Someone has Glenda!!!

Yea... dealer should have been able to track it.

Vehicles do occasionally get shipped to the wrong dealer though, sometimes across the country. Mightve showed up at another dealer and they seized the opportunity.

Well if it actually is sold, you don’t really have a next step. You’ll just have to order a new one. And I’d obviously recommend doing that with a different dealership.
Send me the VIN, I may be able to verify if it was actually sold or not.

Seems like everyday there's another story about a customer being cheated out of their order by an unscrupulous dealer. @Ford Motor Company Time to start defending customers against these business practices that diminish the brand and ruin customer loyalty for a lifetime.

If a dealer pulled this on me I'd head to the completion and never look back.

I know it’s not your “Glenda” but my dealer has a few eruption green 23’s on the lot today. Don’t think any ADM either.

Find someone with lexus-nexus or hire a lawyer and look up who has the Vin registered to them.

Then chase it back and take whoever sold last to court. Give'em hell.

I don’t know if I could go through the frustration of another order process if that happened to me.
I’d try to find one that’s already built and for sale, even if I had to go halfway across the country.

Time to move on. Find one on a lot somewhere and see if you can make a deal. Your ordered unit is gone, and I doubt you have much if any recourse. Sorry to be a Debbie downer but the last step in grieving is acceptance and hope. The sooner you get there the better.
