Once I got that line off it was pretty straight forward and went easy after that. Took about 2 hours messing with that line and finally telling myself your not going to re-use it so let's just get it off.

i would order a replacement line just in case your engine starts throwing codes and you want to go back to stock on the CCV side

Yah I am definitely looking for one of those lines for sure. You get on the ford site and the pcv line is super easy to find but having issues finding the ccv line. If anyone has a link to one of those that would be super helpful. 🙂

I have a 2022 and installed the Mishimoto double catch can. I can assure you the PCV and the CCV lines are different. The pcv removes super easy and the ccv you basically have to either break or get super lucky hitting the 2 catches. I am attaching the pictures after I finally got the CCV line removed.

That's what happened to mine. I ordered replacement fittings for mine from UPR. Little more expensive but now I can replace the existing line with ease whenever I want. It just takes a little heat to remove the old fitting and then insert the new one and then let it cool and it's good to go.

So you just use the factory hose? That's a great idea! Thanks for the links and they are on their way!

Yeah, just used a heat gun for about 15-20 seconds to heat the hose up and the connector pulls right out and then slip the new one in and let it cool and it shrinks back down. I was having issues with the CCV side of the catch cans and it was a pain trying to keep removing the stock hose. This will make it way easier to switch between the two if I need too again.

Sweet! Hopefully I won't have any issues with the new catch cans but now I have a solution if everything goes to hell and a handbasket.

The crank case vent tube connections using the orange clips are NOT reusable. They are removed by breaking off the black housing around the base, allowing the orange locking tabs to release. They must be replaced after removal.

Look up in this thread. Broncolv posted some links to fittings that I also puchased to re-use the "old" ccv line and you simply replace the fittings. This way if you ever need you can put the the line back on and off again without those one use style fitting that you had to break to get off in the first place.

If anyone cares for an update on the CEL issue. The CCV side of Mishimoto dual catch can was causing my CEL light to come on. After trying to work with their support they stated that they have seen this issue before and it is caused by the air pressure change due to the catch cans. Their two solutions where either pack the catch can with steel wool which did not work or pay for a tune to recalibrate the pressure sensor so the CEL doesn't come on any more. I have since removed the entire setup and working with the vendor to return it under a warranty issue but @Mishimoto has not been very helpful on this matter. It has been over a week and they are quote "Still working on getting the RMA issued for it". I personally will not be purchasing anything else from Mishimoto but the vendor Alex from @Motoroso has been great, very helpful and I highly recommend them.

Sorry to hear that you had that issue. I fortunately have not had any problems with my double catch can setup from Mishimoto. I have about 300 miles on it since I have installed it so hopefully it won't come on? I have a 22 wildtrack 4door with the 2.7L.
