The old school FSB one worked like shit too once the motor went out anyways. How does it work? Like absolute shit. Ford quite literally went with the worst possible option for the rear window operation that they could have.
Sorry, big fan of the rear window on the FSB. have my rear window down right now...still too chilly in the morning for me to take the top off.
I was hoping they would've done the tailgate similar to honda where it swings open but also can fold down if needed. the stupid plastic faux tailgate seems lame IMO compared to being able to sit on an actual tailgate.I don't need the roll down, but do wish they'd had a drop down gate with a separate swing for the tire. Not too complicated....
Can't fold down if you have a spare tire mounted to it which the Honda does not.I was hoping they would've done the tailgate similar to honda where it swings open but also can fold down if needed. the stupid plastic faux tailgate seems lame IMO compared to being able to sit on an actual tailgate.
Which is why you make the tire swing separately. Can't fold down if you have a spare tire mounted to it which the Honda does not.
Who's saying the accessory is plastic? Sure looks metal to me.
Estaban talked about the options when they designed it and said had to do with the 360 camera placement. Although I agree with what you are saying. Surely could incorporate somehow.Which is why you make the tire swing separately.
Huh?I think they make the rear window hard to leave open while driving because it sucks in the exhaust.
That can be an issue.! Son's 4 runner was like that.Huh?
You literally just close the gate with the window still up, then you drive away.
I feel like I’m taking crazy pills.
Yeah, you couldn't get straight back exhaust for the FSB for that reason. It had to go to the rear of the back passenger side tire.I think they make the rear window hard to leave open while driving because it sucks in the exhaust.
It makes a low pressure behind every suv type truck when it going down the road ,thats why its always dirty on the back of any chopped of truck,tahoe,4 runner ect aerodynamics of a brickHuh?
