Installed icon 2.5 adjustable coilovers along with Camburg upper control arms, nitto trail grapplers 315/70R17, and Sasquatch take off wheels. Did the install with my dad (he’s on the forum so hi dad) in our driveway, overall it’s a straight forward install which means it took us 15+ hours.

Started with a non squatch black diamond 2.3L manual, there was nothing wrong with the ride stock it was good on and off road. However the switch from stock to icon was night and day, it rides incredibly smooth and plush while also drastically reducing body roll and pitch. Haven’t been able to take it off roading yet but am sure that my bash plates will appreciate the added ground clearance.

There were some difficulties with the instal, the position of the front reservoirs either pushed the hose along the spring rubbing on 4 of the coils or rubbing the the tire at full lock. After speaking with icon we were told we could losses the nut to spin the hose on the revisor without leaking oil, it leaked oil. Icon then got to work on new set of custom front coil-overs and had them ready in an impressive amount of time so props to them. This is a new vehicle and a brand new suspension kit so not that suprised that there’d be issues.

Overall it rides amazing and looks great, programmed the tire size with forscan two days ago so really don’t have enough data to make any real mpg claims but doesn’t seem to be a change. I’ll post updates when I get some time to take it off road with the new set up. It also got a buff, polish, and ceramic coat while we waited for parts and looks better than factory now.

How about rear brake lines? Mine are short. This is with the passenger side lifted, but still needs to go a bit more to lift the tire. I think if I lift my passenger tire, I lose brakes.
I will have to check and see.

I will have to check and see.
This is sitting level in the parking lot. I will have to try and flex it out and see how it looks.

Looks great.

Much respect to your dad for wrenching barefoot.
The only time I wear shoes is at work! Grew up in South Florida, nobody wore shoes when we were kids.

That’s the set I got (Cdev) and my stock tie rods with no sleeve still rub the spring. I think they just screwed the pooch on these and didn’t account on variation of trim or worse just went to market with a defective product that they apparently knew about before launch. I’m really disappointed in them, honestly I may never buy another Icon product again. We will see how this supposed fix is and if I’m not happy then they said they will refund me. I told Dusty from Icon I would be in their area tomorrow if they wanted to see my issue but was told there might not be shop time and then I got no reply to the DM. You would think they would want to figure this out asap but I guess they don’t.

Hey Chris, I feel really frustrated for you brother. Working out these new product kinks really gets in the way of enjoying your new mods. Let me tell you that I have been working with icon for many years and know the team personally from sema 2018. Since then I have developed a good relationship with them and can say they have consistently tried their best to resolve issues as they arose; and have always had my customers best interests in mind. Icon is a large company and admittedly, getting a resolution doest happen as quickly as I would like in the moment.. I will say they always come through for me in the end and gone the extra mile to hep fix whatever issue Im facing. I know these bronco kits have had a ton of thought and testing put into them and these clreance issues will be resolved quickly!

I have full edc kit for my bronco incoming and and eager to document how to achieve the proper clearance. Whether its new misalignment spacers, different hardware or a new shock all together im excited to show you guys the end results!
Most looking forward to demonstrating how these shocks were designed to perform at a higher level with the additional upgraded uca/rear links/trac bar.

while you're waiting for them, im happy to look at some pictures or FaceTime you with my techs to try to hep ID the issue. txt 9154490881 anytime

Looks great, I also am installing ICONs on my Bronco. Have very limited time on my hands so its going to be a few weeks for me to have it all installed. Here is the front passenger pic though. At this time the res hose is touching my UCA, but I also have it in a droop position. ICON said that the hose is durable enough for minor contact without fear of having a leak.

To be fair, this bronco has been garaged while I have been modding the hell out of it. I don't have much time on my hands so it's been a long journey but if I don't get it out the way I want now, it will take a decade or so for me to get it all done. I should be done this October with upgrades to Suspension, Steering, Sat/GPS/GMSR Communications, Radar detector, surveillance dash cam, engine mods, performance tune, Max tire clearance mod, interior lights, exterior lights, and mudflap install.

Flexed as much as I could on the ramp I had available. Still seem fine on mine.

What did you use to hold the hose in place? Those don’t look like just hose clamps, they look nice

You need to lift from the passenger side to suspend the tire like it would be when lifted off the ground to get max articulation.
From your ramp picture, just think how much more it would drop if that front passenger tire was 6-12 inches higher than the driver side.

Ah yea I get that. Don't have a way to do that flex test that I can think of.

If you are talking about the reservoir hoses its the supplied clamps from Icon. They don't fit the rock jocks links great but they will work for now.
