Thanks to this thread I reached out to my salesman and he already replied that they completely forgot to apply the $100...in my excitement about getting the Bronco I forgot all about it as well. I can either have them cut a check or apply it to accessories...decisions, decisions.

I was happy to find one locally not charging the 20K mark up, so 1K down wasn't a big deal from that perspective.

I'd fly to TX and buy there before I pay a mark up.

I did that with my first Raptor when everyone wanted 10K over locally. I had a great road trip vacation with the money they wanted as mark up.

I recall knowing it was fully refundable if you tapped out, but if I converted to an order do I get that 100 bucks back? Is it a Ford gripe or a dealer thing?

They added it to my deposit. I had forgotten about it, but they remembered to add the $500 I gave them when I placed my order, and it reminded me. I asked about the original $100 for the reservation, and they added that too.

For peeps like myself who had a reservation early on don't forget about the price protection. So I will get the following when I pick up my Wildtrak:

- $100 reservation deposit
- $500 order deposit
- $695 Wildtrak Price protection

For me, the price protection was factored in on msrp when I did the 2022 build and price. Then they added the $100+$500 to my down payment.

My dealer also required a 1k deposit. They had so many orders I had to wait until March to be able to get to a salesperson. It's a pretty large dealer. They have noted that I have already made an $1100 payment in writing and promised MSRP.

My dealer was either playing dumb or was just plain dumb about the $100. They didn't know what happened with the original $100. They said Ford should have credited it back to me when I converted my reservation to an order. That didn't happen, obviously. Still trying to get the credit applied! And they have done at least 50 Bronco deliveries.

I discussed the $100 credit a couple times before we did the paperwork, but it was not on the paperwork when finalizing so they gave me $100 towards the accessories I bought. They knew they were refunding it at the dealer level, not from Ford. The email I originally received and my online account always said the deposit was received by the dealership.

Yes, remind the finance manager of the $100 deposit, so they can credit you for it.
