Chrome fell out of fashion in 1950. LOL. I dig the blackout look. Chrome is tired.Black out packages are so overdone. Fell out of fashion in 2012.
Yeah sorry disagree. Once Nissan started selling a blackout package for a fucking Rouge the trend was dead. Anyone still on the bandwagon is probably in a flyover state where trends are 10yrs behind.Chrome fell out of fashion in 1950. LOL. I dig the blackout look. Chrome is tired.
What will be the post-chrome / post-blackout trend?
Flat paint for sure right now. Some of those German and Japanese models look great in flat paint.
Whatās next ā¦
Actually I was looking at some 1971 Vetteās and Camaros today that have that nice pipe cleaner thin chrome bumper. So nice before GM removed them in 74 or fattened them up into those wide 70ās chrome bumpers.
I blacked out my 2013 Camaro. Love the look.
Yes, I swing both ways .. Chevy and Ford now.
I didnāt say blackout is in. I said chrome is dead. My 2020 High Country Silverado that I sold for the Bronco was pure chrome everywhere. But all the Ford Raptor trucks and Chevy Silverado Z71s and Dodge TRX trucks are murdered out. Theyāre not chrome.Yeah sorry disagree. Polished aluminum and actual colors are back in.
I like the bright trim rings, not a fan of all black, no contrast.Just get a base bronco and spend $30 on a black horse emblem and call it a day? Worked for me, still need to get wheel trim rings painted but pretty "shadow packaged" out the box.
I was wondering about that, too, when I saw āPrice: eachā, but thatās misleading. Itās $1485 for a set of 5 wheels. If you check the link in post #1 it goes to the same wheels for Ranger, but in that case itās $1295 for a set of 4.$7500 for a set of 5 (five) black, Ford wheels made in China. I don't think so. I'd be shocked if Ford paid $100 for each wheel. That price is outrageous.
If the price is in fact for a "set of four or even five" wheels, it should say so. It is very misleading. It appears the minion at Ford that wrote this ad has a poor grasp of the concept of pricing.I was wondering about that, too, when I saw āPrice: eachā, but thatās misleading. Still no bargain, but not exactly outrageousā¦
Or you just donāt know what youāre talking about.Yeah sorry disagree. Once Nissan started selling a blackout package for a fucking Rouge the trend was dead. Anyone still on the bandwagon is probably in a flyover state where trends are 10yrs behind.
