Well them to walk, but not two fast...More exercise, less carbon emissions, world will be a better place.
Did that make sense in your head when you typed it out?

No 1973 vehicle I know of outside of Rolls Royce maybe had designated heater vents anywhere except in and under the dash. Even 1978 GM products. Not until my 84 6000STE were there vents incorporated into the center console.

But that does not let Ford off the hook for not incorporating air flow through the console
It would also be another story if Ford didn’t put a console/rear seat HVAC in every other truck and suv it produces.

Airflow balance sucks, especially in the auto settings. The blower is so load yet the movement of air in dash vents and floor is minimal 😣
Could it be people with the auto systems have more issues than those with manual HVAC?
My 2 Door manual system seems to work fine and I have yet to take a trip where it's below zero outside that I didn't need to turn the heat off max, do more like in the upper middle area.

Put me on the list of feet heat not really coming out just as everyone described. Hope a fix comes out.

Is this only a 4dr thing? We need a poll
My 2 door doesnt have rear vents, so in that way it is different.

My floor heat isn't near the air flow that the vents and defrost are. Not a big deal to me, my wife though wishes more air flow came from the floor.

Yes I believe the auto design is suspect
I stopped using auto mode and the recirculation stays on, and the air seems to blow a little better…

Exactly.

I just run it with floor vents only once I warm up so i can turn up a litter warmer and little more blower speed with out overcooking rest of my body just to keep the toes comfortable.

Tone down the heat on the seat too. I cant go over 1 level on mine for more than 5 min or too hot. I don't really ever see a need for level 3 heat on the seat.

I asked my 5 year old if she was warm in the back today, the temps were in the the low 20s, and she said she was fine. Maybe your kids are soft from their time on the west coast.
Ford Bronco Is Ford going to update the hvac vents? giphy (2)

In all seriousness, it just seems like there's just a lack of consistency in Ford's production line

Mine is always set for defrost/floor. Maybe that’s why mine is good.
