My A and B pillars are literally wobbly and soft... same with the plastic on the sides of storage area. My horn plastic has also split open.

I fully intend to take it in, but it's 111 degrees outside here and I have no idea what they will do right now.

Not from the sun. I live 75 miles south of you and even with the heat index outside at 110-113 for the past 3 weeks and this hasn’t happened to mine. Also spend plenty of days at the beach with the top down and doors off without a windshield shade.

There is a post from someone with a raptor having a similar issue.

does someone put their bare feet up on your dash, maybe with some heel lotion? Looks looks heel marks to me.
Exactly what I was about to ask.

I fear that it will look like the 80s dash one day baking in the heat.

Hmm, we just went through 21 consecutive days of 100+ deg weather here in TX and haven't experienced or seen anything like that reported. My guess would be either a chemical cleaner was left on the dash that accelerated material breakdown, or, a concentrated light reflection was hitting that particular spot.
Concentrated light was my 1st thought looking at the photo.

Two things jump to my mind that plastic has a bad reaction to. Bug repellent(deet) and (thanks to the poor soul who posted his woes here on 6G) auto interior air freshener cards. Ascetone sucks too, but we shouldn’t be dealing with that.

If it were chemical, it should have happened in the whole dashboard.
My guess is some light reflection with extra heat. I don't know.
Could have been chemical. Something that only got on that part of the dash. Also, remember that almost anything could be a chemical, soda, beer, sun screen. A lot of this stuff seems harmless but doesn't play well with certain plastics.

Yep... Girlfriend or wifey is suspect or isn't being honest...
Yes absolutely a clear defined liquid outline.

That type of delamination would not have a defined border per say it would happen in random patterns.

I would ask your passenger’s what they left on the dash to eat away at the plastic. Heat just accelerated the breakdown process.

And since everyone is using petroleum free plastics these days most organic liquids with heat will stain or eat away on these new surfaces.

My guess is spicy tamale juice.

I’ve seen a couple spots like this on mine and think they have always been there. Not sure if it’s actually cracking though.
