Clearly, Jonny ways 13-year-old son hijacked his account to post this thread and he's getting the responses he hoped for. I wish there was a way that we could vote for "most helpful post" in a thread, because yours is it. I've saved that link. It's too bad I didn't know about this before I bought my floor jack. I could have purchased two of these for less than that. (I only use the floor jack in the garage to swap between street tires and off-road tires.) They don't mention the size or the weight--do you have a rough estimate of the size of the box? I've got to consider space.A lot of people swear by the off-road floor jacks. I bought a badlands to see the hype. Just wasn’t impressed honestly, sure it’s a great Jack and works in a variety of terrain. But it’s just sooo heavy and expensive and takes up so. Much. Room.
I got the power built bottle Jack, it’s safe, light, jacks up really high and has built in Jack stand as well. Used that, hi-lift and badlands off-road Jack. I prefer the power built bottle Jack now. It works on my lifted bronco just fine.

My floor jack is basically a bottle jack on its side.Don't know about all bottle jacks but it has always been said to not store bottle jacks on their sides.
Pretty simple and doesn’t take up space. Thinking about making a permanent mount one day. This is interesting. It checks off a lot of boxes for me.
Do you have any pics of how you mount/tote it around, or just kinda throw it in there, secure it, and roll on out?
I have some ideas here but depending on weight and base plate size/ height of the jack they might can be simplified a bit.
Feels like 15 lbs? Base is widest at 9x9” and collapsed height is 12”Clearly, Jonny ways 13-year-old son hijacked his account to post this thread and he's getting the responses he hoped for. FYI, we are working on a mount for the rear storage area so it's not loose back there. We just started so it will be a minute before it's available.Feels like 15 lbs? Base is widest at 9x9” and collapsed height is 12”
I just bought the kit to make a tauler jack!meh they have their place, helped me in a bind tons of times over the years. The downside is they are difficult to store and require lube.
that being said though I’m exploring a new option for this truck:
