Not in the know, but no it wont. Everything in motion has been in motion for years. Some would say a smoother launch but it's a much bigger picture than one person.

- 'next guy in line' says not much changes
- Fortune 500 stats however show a CEO change prompts (I can't recall the actual percentage) 40%-50% turnover in the next 2 layers down within 18 months or so

Probably seldom if ever true in auto industry and also probably not the way it plays out anywhere when it’s the COO taking over.

I would say it's more like they gave him the option you can either retire or get fired. Ford wasn't in exactly the best shape under his leadership
