And since it's that important, why is only on the OB and Lux??? Why not on all the other trims??? Huh?? Riddle me that.
I guess Ford figures those of us in lower trims are low-rent shmucks, and don't deserve to live!

My wife and I were talking about the LUX package earlier, specifically the ACC. She has it on her Subaru, and I recall using it once on a 300 mile straight away. Living in a dense populated area now, it doesn’t seem like it’s get used... in our case. Very dependent on where you live I suppose.

I only use it on road trips. It's worth it for that.

I like it more in the densley populated areas, as it brakes and keeps you the same distance, even as traffic slows and speeds up. On an open highway, not a big difference. It is in the execution though....even within manufacturers. My GMC keeps you too far back from the vehicle in fron of you; while my wife's Cadillac is perfect and works mush better.

Everyone has an opinion about any thread topic so here's mine. I'm ordering a Badlands with everything I can get on it. Here's why, I've never in my life committed to purchase a vehicle that I've never seen or driven. Full disclosure I did go drive a Ranger before reservations opened. If for some reason I don't love the new Bronco and how scarce they will be for the next 18 months or so I'll flip it. I see it as insurance, all the goodies add value in my mind. There's my two cents!

Do we know if the ACC is ACC with Stop and Go or if it has to be above X miles per hour? Do we also know if the ACC works with manual?

You guys talked me into the Lux. I thought I would be fine with High, but I'm convinced.

If I'm being honest, it's a go big or go home thing for me. My wife gets the nice car because she's the one hauling the kids - and I just haven't cared that much. Really want a Bronco - so I might as well go big since I never do.

That said - my wife's car as most of the safety features. BLIS is super nice when you've got your rig packed with stuff for a trip and the collision avoidance goodies have probably spared me from a fender-bender or two over the years. Plus I'm in Colorado - and heated steering wheels are veddy nice...

I partially agree with this, but not completely. My jeep with hard top sounds great with the top on. Like really slams in my opinion and I've had some very good systems in the past. With a sound system I have about 1600 bucks in, and that includes the 12 in sub in the back that makes all the difference. On sound level 20, my mirror rattles. Borderline too gangster for a man with kids in his 40's but I enjoy it. But this required full aftermarket which I was hoping to avoid with the Bronco. And the sub takes up space so I need something more integrated.

So my only annoyance with B&P is that I couldn't do B&O sound a la cart. I may end up going with lux just to get that since it would probably be about a wash with what I would spend, and I get the UGDO (how is a garage door opener lux, but that's another story). I ascribe zero value to all the cruise and lane departure junk. I have it on my LX 570 and it is great but that's my road trip car. It's a weird set of options for a car like this I feel.

Where I fully agree with you is that with the top off, you literally cannot hear shit. On that same volume level 20, if I'm driving at city speeds I can barely understand the words. People should go in with that expectation. It honestly still amazes me what a difference it makes with the top off. So yes, your suggestion of RF instead of B&O is a good one. I still need decent audio for the times i have the top off. The standard audio (at least in the wrangler) was so atrocious that I can't believe they sell it.

Only clicking "Lux" for the B&O stereo upgrade. Otherwise, could see kicking myself in the head for years at the standard crap radio.
