I find it hard to believe they’re going to build 600 a shift at full production.

The BMW plant here produces over 1500 vehicles a day so I can definitely see Ford producing less than half that in one day at MAP.

What does “tag relief” mean?

Instead of shutting down the line for breaks, a person trained in all the jobs will come and take your place, then move on to the next person when you return.

Instead of "mass relief" in which a production area shuts down for relief period/break the line continues to run and a relief person takes over your job while you take your relief time.

10 hour shifts M-F, then 8 on Saturday. All OT has to be agreed upon between Ford and the UAW

Not sure why you'd say that. 600 is nothing. The only thing that may limit them are supplier parts.

so at full throttle, they are making 600 perday for 5 days and then 480 on Saturday .. and this would be a mix of Bronco and Ranger.

So 3480 units per week.

600 Broncos x two 10 hour shifts per day x five days, will be 6000 Broncos a week not counting when they work a Saturday. That should work through the back log of orders in 5 months or so. Not bad.

No, that is Broncos and Ranger mixed. We dont know what the mix will be yet, but they are building 500 Rangers a day right now.
