lol, they just started making MIC 2.0 a week ago and they're not going to put the ones they have built on a damn dealer mannequin when there are thousands of Broncos sitting that need tops as well as thousands of FEs that need to be shipped out within the next couple months. At this point I would not put it past Ford to do just that!

Dealer mannequins have all kinds of issues. Some look ready to sell. Some not so much, and I'd put this one in the later category. My local dealer has a Wildtrak that has two different interior colors front and rear.

Mic 1.0 or 2.0, how does this get past QC? If mine looks like that at delivery, I’d need a guarantee of replacement prior to any money exchanging hands.

And if they won't guarantee it you're willing to refuse the transaction and start the wait all over?

This rough edges and gaps wouldn’t be so easy to see if the top were….black.

In the 3rd picture (where you see the scratching/water? Overspray?), look along the top edge across the rear - still appears the layering is exposed. And yes, in the 4th image, you can see the snake skinning along the rear window edge/corner.

@OP's profile says they are in Mi, but didn't indicate how far from MAP.
Add that this having the blue sticker, it's not a customer order, so it most likely won't be sold for a few months anyway.

My guess is that it was held on Dirt Mountain, but being a stock unit and "local" enough, it made sense to ship it as-is now and replace it later so it frees up one more MIC today for production builds as there is probably next to no freight involved to get the new top once more are available.
