Correct. But don’t you find it odd that it’s free on the mid package? Or if you bought the 2.3 and the automatic and don’t pay attention you could have the 2.7 for $300? An engine for $300?

Yes, there is also no option for mid package without auto. So generous of ford to give you a 1600 transmission. With your mid package purchase

Its not like Ford is going to miss this on the official order sheets that dealers get. They aren't going to hand out free transmissions to every Big Bend order. better to have the right prices now than to be $1600 short when you go to the dealer. Or if it is correct yay for everyone getting a BB.

No wonder why my badlands build is coming into play now compared to the OBX.

When I ran survey prices the badlands had more of a mark up because the OBX came with an auto.

I do fear that B&P is wrong.

If it costs just $300 to go from 2.3 auto to 2.7 auto. Why even offer a 2.3? No one in their right mind would get a 2.3 with auto and Ford is raping those of us that are 2.3 and 7 speeds.

Ford is clearly saying, 2.3 for manual, 2.7 for auto makes the best truck. So they are using pricing to make that obvious to customers. This is very common IMO. They want people to be happy and must feel the 2.3/auto combo is a bit dull.

Hell I'm about to peace out of these forums for a while ?. I've only been on here for a few months but it's gone from people being excited and talking about the bronco to a bunch of high school kids punching each other in the dicks.
