Hey Bronco Team,

We are working on an aluminum coolant expansion tank and would like your feedback regarding color options. The stock tank is on the passenger side of the engine bay in front of the firewall. You cannot miss the semi-opaque tank with yellow-ish liquid in it! Luckily, we have an option for you in the works for people who don't like the way the stock one looks (or who are looking for increased coolant capacity). Even if you aren't concerned about the color of the tank, an aluminum tank will be more reliable than the stock plastic tank, keeping you on the trail and not pulled over with a puddle of coolant under your Bronco. Scope the renderings below for two color options.

crazy idea...
what about relocating the bottle elsewhere, and mounting the battery in that tank location so we can run a true dual cone intake system with the driver filter in the place of the oem battery.....

Will there be a sight glass to check level? Not loving the idea of having to get a flashlight to then unscrew and check level...

We will have a clear (with a sight backer) window on the side of the tank so you can check the coolant level. The "COLD" line on the side will help you make sure your coolant level (when cold) is in the ideal spot.
They said this in the 2.3 post https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/thre...minum-expansion-tank-poll.43610/#post-1396854

Hey @DoYouBronco - Interesting idea. I'll run this by the Engineering Team.

Hi @yippeekiyay - Yes, thanks @MrGreen55 for the link to the other thread. We will have a clear (with a sight backer) window on the side of the tank so you can check the coolant level. The "COLD" line on the side will help you make sure your coolant level (when cold) is in the ideal spot.

Would love a sight glass like this rather than the bullseye.
Hi @mikec426 - Another interesting idea. I'll share this with Engineering.

I was kind of looking at that the other day. Seems where intake is located and how air is routed to it, doesn't seem very efficient. Sorry to side track the thread...
