I got my hands on a discontinued new in box Airaid snorkel then modified it to accept a Sy-Klone 9001 precleaner, I also fixed the Airaid to OEM airbox issue where Airaid did not provide a solution to seal the OEM box. I like the Airaid over the Mishmoto because it actually hugs the A-pillar, without that 5" gap that Mishimoto has.

I had the same precleaner head on my JKU AEV snorkel, and like the Jeep, there is no noticeable change in mpg using the sy-klone.

Poser, no. That's your assumption. Additionally educate yourself on what the Sy-Klone 9001 does when attached to a snorkel inlet. As I said, I used one on my Jeep AEV, they work wonders in high dust/dirt environments.
Sooo on a turbo motor put a big black tube in the sun to have even longer to warm air before it enters the engine bay instead of servicing consumable part, gotcha.

I am currently looking into a mod that very few of you attempted. I am about to mount a parachute on my roof rack. In case my Bronco ever has to be dropped out of C130, it will come handy.
Is there going to be a B6G group buy price on this?

LOL, I see the "I'm cool because I have something I'm NEVER EVER EVER EVER going to use, ers" are here.

I've met ZERO Bronco drivers that are driving their Broncos into water that fills into their cab. Just isn't a thing. Snorkels are the ULTIMATE waste of money poser accessory. If you're driving into water that gets into your air box (with the intake at the top of the engine compartment) you are driving too fast into the water (or your airbox isn't sealing correctly).

Blah blah "does wonders in high dust/dirt environments" blah. The guy with AT tires and a snorkel, quit with the trying to find justifications BS. You bought it because you think it looks cool.

Man some of you go out of your way to hate on others. A snorkel goes not mean I am driving with my windshield under water. Good grief.

After 15k miles of dust and mud my filter looks near new. Stock Bronco intakes in the same environment look like a wet dog.
You have no idea how much water I’ve had in my cab but I do. There are plenty of other Broncos here in FL that have filled the cabs with water as well. That’s the reality of off-road in FL all summer long. Water, water and more water. The electronics are a lot more water resistant than you realize.

Call me crazy, but maybe you should consider an airboat?

That’s for an entirely different adventure. I’ve seen this guy trailed in my area, pretty badass.

When I lived in St. Pete's, I loved going down to the Glades and cruise around with an airboat. And the food down there? My oh my.

Dude, you're completely out of line here.

All discussion here prior to this and your prior post were nothing but having appropriate decorum. Sure, I suppose the use of "poseur" might be considered "name calling" but it's awfully mild. I get it, no one likes name calling but if the shoe fits...

You've taken it's totally inappropriate level with the wife beating and dickhead comments. Sarcastic or not, stop.

Get it in check as you're clearly violating common courtesy and forum rules.
None of us personally know one another. I've watched threads crash and burn because of hateful, unwarranted name calling and disrespect. Now on the other hand, I'm all for it...if you dish it, I'm giving it back as nasty and dirty as I can, ain't no rules once disrespect enters the chat. That grown man went full energy hate and name call because of what another man installed on his truck...wtf is that?

I hope this is only for aesthetics since Bronco does not have a very deep ford depth.
I've gone in holes that went over the hood and everything came out fine. The stock intake has a water flippy flapper than does a bang-up job of shooting and splishy splashies down and out so as to protect us from the curse of the Jeeper.

Calm down gentlemen, or I'll DM the guy that will quote The Bible verses for you, and you'll all feel ashamed.

I have a friend that went into some scary holes over his career and never needed the snorkel. Sometimes the hood, but never the snorkel.

In Logic and Argumentation, premises and conclusions are essential components of an argument. In this case, premises are false, therefore, the conclusion is wrong.

Well, I see the mod(s) got in here to clean things up a bit. Despite that you cant rewrite history. In no way shape or form did someone go "full energy hate" and "name call" on you. That was solely your doing. You got called a posuer, as I mentioned prior, that was about the extent of it.
