Yea understandable, I want to put them as soon as I take delivery for that reason.
Yeah definitely get them on the day you take delivery. Hell better yet make the dealer install them before you pull out of the lot. Lol.

Glad I saw this thread and your video. I've been adamant about wanting to order the Rokblox mud flaps when my Bronco ships but, this has changed my mind and I'm definitely ordering the Rekgens. đź‘Ť I have a Sas as well, so I guess I'll go with the XL's like you did. Seems to be perfect length.

Anyone have luck installing Rek Gens on the rear for a Sasquatch with steel bumpers? The instructions tell you to simply reuse the three bolt locations holding on the rear bumper caps/ extensions, but my bumper caps are smooth and apparently never came with those. So when you upgrade to steel bumpers you get the side benefit of 3 fewer bolts in the rear wheel well, offering better aerodynamics and +.00000001 MPG.

Seriously, if anyone has any tips, I'd very much appreciate them.

I did the regular Ford ones and cut them to fit my sliders. Easy and cheap
I plan to use the OEM ones as they are similar to the weathetech and a little cheaper, that coupled with the $400 credit we have on Ford pass makes them free.

Is no one offering plain ol' black rubber mud flaps that fit Broncos with the OEM sliders? I can't abide these nylon bits hanging low that will probably get shattered by the first branch that snags it.

I thought this problem was solved like 75 years ago, but it seems like everyone is trying to re-invent the wheel.

Are these the best most well made with a OEM look?
I’m very pleased with them. They work well on mine. I guess looks is based on opinion so you’ll have to decide on that part.

Regardless of manufacturer, if you have the factory steel bumpers, and want to install rear flaps, be sure you understand how you’ll be installing them and confirm what you’re buying is compatible before making the purchase. Don’t make the same mistake I did…

Other than OEM/Gator and Weathertech, who else makes one out of plyable rubber?

I installed my Mabett mud flaps the day after I took delivery, didn't wanna take ANY chances of getting the sides all jacked up from rocks. I like them a lot and not near the cost of the RokBlokz ones. I also threw on the Rough Country side steps and they look really good with the mudflaps, no issues what so ever.

Ordered the RekGen XL’s 2 weeks ago but still haven’t shipped. I live on a dirt road, might have to go with something else if they don’t come soon. Bummed cause I think the RG’s look the best

I don’t think the Mabett ones look too shabby.

assuming they work pretty well at keeping rocks off the paint too? I agree they look good
Yea once I added the flaps you could tell there was a lot less debris hitting the side. I also added on some RC side steps and that also catches some of the rocks the flaps miss. I’d rather it hit the steps than the doors!
