So about the same as the FE after ADM? :p

The weight of the EV though… can you feel it? It’s twice as heavy as a Bronco.
No ADM. The dealer added a protection package at 3K--though a pretty Stright deal.
The ride is smooth. I don't feel the weight. It also has a great turning radius. Aso, I don't feel the vibration from the tires. So far I'm happy. But like someone said-until, until a repair bill comes along.

So, I was lucky to pick up my Bronco 1st Edition at the end of October--very pleased with it.
However, I picked up my Hummer EV1 on Friday and must say that it is a special vehicle. It is a beast that drives like a Bentley with features galore. GM did a great job! According to my onboard systems, I am getting about 350 miles per charge.
Overall, both are great options with an edge to the HEV1.
Enjoy!

That hummer is one awesome but huge vehicle!! I'd much rather have it for my uses over the Bronco. Bet it is much better ride and quite. Congrats.

Pretty EV for sure....but I’m not really into Chinese owned /partnered anything and GM and SAIC are one of those. While it’s impossible to avoid all chinese made goods, ownership etc....I do try.

GM is in no way owned by China or any Chinese interests. They've had a joint venture in China (SAIC) in China since the '90s. Tons of companies do that. And nothing in that article is secret lol

FWIW I wish all American business interests would pull out of China. Partnerships, manufacturing. Everything. But until then, GM isn't doing anything suspect.

Congrats! You've got one hell of a garage with those 2 vehicles!

I actually didn't even know GM started producing them yet. I thought they were a 2023-ish rollout. I've heard good things about the Hummer EV's ride quality and that interior looks outstanding. Range is impressive too. Enjoy!

I personally prefer the exterior design of the R1T, which I already had on order before the Hummer was announced, plus the R1T was considerably less (even fully loaded). Glad Rivian rolled back that surprise price hike for pre-orders though.

Thanks. I'm pleased with the HEV1--more than I thought I would be. It's my understanding that the EV3x and SUV head out late 22 early 23. Good luck.

humble brag.
How has @Cheshire not already commented in this thread that he's taken delivery of two Hummer taxpayer-specials, and that your build is not optimized for the platform????

I think this new hummer is great. Not only can GM soak the taxpayers for another $1.5 billion dollars in tax credits to help sell these 37% tax-bracket-mobiles, but these >9,000 lb behemoths will really help solve the crumbling infrastructure of freeways and bridges in the US. Namely, helping to destroy them.

Every American should be proud to help folks get these on the roads and also inspire the next vehicle abandonment cycle for current Tesla owners. Oh Prius, we hardly knew thee before being cast aside for the Tesla.... And now this. African battery "recycling" pits will be getting a workout!

Haters generally suffer from one or more of the following:

1. They hate themselves,
2. They want to be you, or
3. They see you as a threat

Have you ever met a hater doing better than you? Me Neither
@Rick Astley Your juvenile obsession flatters me & is entirely entertaining. Keep it coming!

If I am not mistaken, the EV is significantly more pricey than the bronco, correct? I have not driven one but I sat in it and it was pretty impressive for sure.
Lol have you seen what people are asking for FE’s? Not that they are getting asking price. Sticker to sticker yes HV is more.

To the op both very nice rides👍 Congrats!
