Your math kinda doesn’t add up...if 9k emails got sent out 2 Thursdays ago, there’s 5 more Thursdays to the end of May = 63k / 125k = 50.4% 🤷‍♂️

I hate when people claim that all capital letters is yelling. No, they are letters on a screen. Unless you have a Text-to-Speech software that actually yells them and can prove the person posting them actually yelled, out loud, the words in all capital letters, it is not yelling. That misnomer started when a bunch of librarians and other barely computer literate busy bodies began using internet chat rooms and decided that it was their responsibility to give everyone etiquette lessons and coin a ridiculously hip word netiquette. Clamoring to be the first to tell someone that their use of capital letters is "yelling" makes you resemble that one trope in the zeitgeist that is named after a common English name.

Isn't Ford going to answer his questions?
Um......No

All of Ford’s communication has stated job 1 production will begin on June 7, 2021. (At least those are the orders being scheduled from as we speak.

Other preproduction Broncos built prior:
-3000 (plus)or so manicans for the dealerships.
-Whatever it takes to get the assembly line at full capacity.

vin numbered cars are what we are talking about.

please don’t assume some imaginary starting point has begun.

all I’m saying is....
Ford will build your reserved ordered car whenever they decide to....
Totally understandable....

It’s called business and you have to strike while the iron is hot....

You should be asking “why wouldn’t Ford shelve a large percentage of reservation orders in order to take advantage of the red hot demand they have created...

I can almost not blame them....
“Greed is good!”

I just think being up front with people can go a long way.

Promising that “all” reservation ordered cars will be built first by their “reservation date stamp, their dealer allocation, and commodities delays” ....
Pretty much opens the doors for Ford to do whatever they want....

“they build it when they build it ....”

But if they sneak in 27,500 Broncos for the dealerships/public consumption by the end of the year it should come as no surprise.

Hell if I could pay 5 K to get my Bronco only a year out instead of two....
I would call that a bargain!

Hmmm, I wonder how much people payed for their “priority orders”....????

So you’re going to buy a Forester once you walk away?
If I see one Ford Bronco on a dealer lot and I dont have mine, we are starting a Subaru Forester club!!!

Can we put 35's on a Forester?? LOL.

Can we close this thread? It’s obvious the OP refuses to read the logic they are being presented and basing the entire allocation process off of one dealers comments.

US Auto Manufacturers traditionally release the next model year vehicles starting in the fall. This is a practice dating back to the Franklin Roosevelt administration when a law was passed because he wanted to affect employment schedules over the holidays...

Consequently, model year 22 vehicles might start showing up in October of 2021. That would make your math work, but your calendar broken. It also explains why you can buy the next model year vehicle for Christmas.

GIVEN:

-Ford claims they have 125,000 Bronco orders (66.7 reservation to order turn over rate)

-Ford clams they are going to build 65,000 Bronco's aka units this year.

SO....

Why did they only allocate 30% of the 125,000 Bronco orders for MY2021?

This does not make sense!!!!

FACT:

-30% of the MY21 allocation (125,000 UNITS) comes out to: 37,500 Bronco builds.

-Ford's 65,000 builds will be built between June 7th through Dec. 23, 2021

-This turns out to be 157.3 days (with a 5 1/2 day work week)

-157.3 build days = 65,000 units for MY2021 builds

-or 413 Broncos built per day. (THIS IS A CONSERVATIVE ESTIMATE GIVEN COMMODITY ISSUES)

-At 413 units built per day,
Ford will have reached their full Nationwide allocation.
on September 29th
.

FACT:

-37,500 bronco will be built on or before September 29, 2021....

-30% Nationwide allocation for MY 2021 will be completed on or before September 29, 2021

__________________________________________________________________

QUESTION:

What becomes of the Broncos build after September 29th??????

What becomes of the Broncos built after the reservation to order allocations have been filled?????

If you do the math that leaves:

(37,500 FILLED orders - 65,000 ESTIMATED yearly build = 27,500 LEFTOVER BRONCOS????? )

That's 27,500 Broncos (
Built between September 29th-December 23rd, 2021)

What happens to those 27,500 unaccounted for Broncos?????

__________________________________________________________________

QUESTION:

Does Ford have a monthly or quarterly allocation????

Do they allocate by quarter?????

Are the Broncos built after the Reservation Order conversion allocation is filled going to those orders next in line?????

OR,

Are 27,500 leftover Bronco's heading to dealers for the general population to purchase????

Inquiring minds????
