Say!
Anyone think of using neutral tow as an anti-theft feature?
Say when forced to park in a crappy area?
I just normally use my 7 sp Manuel Tranny...

For those of us without our Broncos yet, can you explain what Neutral Tow is?

I have a 7sp on the way, and I will be having Ravelco installed, but I'm always will to adopt extra security measures.

Neutral tow is for towing with all four wheels on the ground, such as behind an RV.
I don't wanna put the procedure on here, in case some bunch of miscreants figger out how to turn it off...

So how does it stop the truck from getting stolen? Is there a code that needs to be entered? If there is an over ride, my guess would be the bad guys already know it, or it's on the internet.

I have Ravelco on my F-150. It lowered my insurance a few bucks every 6 months.

The transfer case is in NEUTRAL. IE: won't go anywhere, except downhill.
Yes, I bet they know, just one more thing to slow them down.

So there is no code to enter that will lock it in tow mode? Maybe Ford should think about that if not.
