The weld would have to be grind down and then weld again followed bye paint might be more trouble than what it’s worth

Yeah, that's ugly. That robot should be fired. ;)

Seems like a strange place for a weld. I assume all 2 doors (and maybe 4 doors) have a weld in that spot?
Oh my!?

I've made better looking welds with a torch and a coat hanger on rusted exhaust pipes. Send it back to the factory and get it completely rebuilt. If that thing passes inspection, what does it take to fail inspection.

This is not a flaw, it is a feature! Clearly an Easter Egg as a tribute to the weld quality on first generation early Broncos!

Don't think it came from the factory like that...

This is most definitely a weld.! Here is a pic of the very same spot on my Badlands.! THIS is what the OP's weld should look like.!
Ford Bronco Nice weld! EB weld
That's definitely closer, but still looks like ass.
Rollover, poor tie in.

So we are getting uppity about welds now?

You notice this because this vehicle allows you to remove the roof. Take off the facade of any vehicle and you will see "ugly welds". They just have the benefit of being able to hide them.

We are just finding any and everything to be mad about.

Hey, I'm ASME Section IX certified. I could TIG it, you could TIG it, but in a manufacturing setting this is as could as it gets.!!

Looks to me like a mig weld pulled out twice with trigger in didn’t blend the restarts at all.

No, it's not.
I work in manufacturing as well, certified AWS 4F, 6G, UT certified welder, painter, now a manager.
It definitely is not as good as it gets.
