and sunglassesLOL looks like a hack stick weld with 7018
Yup. Good pic.It may be seam filler as some have suggested.
Frame here is one before and after plated and looks to be seam filled.
It's interesting. So the forward section (left section in the pic) is part of the windshield header and the aft section is part of the roll bar structure. It looks like to me the aft roll bar section slides into the windshield header and then is tack-welded at the oval opening on the header and then lap-welded where the two parts overlap. I only guess at that construction because there is a small bit of what looks like weld splatter on the roll bar section. The plate on the lower right in the pic is definitely welded to the roll bar section. If welded, the two small voids in the weld are not a structural issue, nor indicate a bad weld (i.e. poor penetration of the weld into the sheet metal parts).I do not believe that is a weld I am pretty sure that is body seam filler for where that sheet metal piece joins the roll bar.
Right, Jeep puts bolts there...Yup. Good pic.
Odd that people would think that their entire roll bar was put together with only a couple inch long weld.
It’s just seam sealed panel overlap.
Anyone that would make a structural roll bar would never join 2 pieces in that location.
So does Polaris.Right, Jeep puts bolts there...

LMFAO... I poke fun at shit and people get so f'ing twisted...Dude, take a Xanax. It’s not a weld.
Agree. That is not a weld. That bad of a weld would’ve splattered or melted the sheet.I do not believe that is a weld I am pretty sure that is body seam filler for where that sheet metal piece joins the roll bar.
That's the world we live in today. If somebody says it or posts it on Facebook or Youtube- it's gotta be true. A whole lot of people on this forum have no common sense and/or no technical skills.Yup. Good pic.

I haven’t taken the roof of my Bronco yet, I ll check it later, hopefully don’t have the same issue.. I have Base VBTook off the drivers side top on my 2dr and was greeted with this. Glaringly obvious and a testament to the QC process. Not a big thing but bothersome for sure.
