Yep, all this bullshit puts me in a BaseManSquatch to act at least as a stop gap measure....I NEED to replace a vehicle, so this will give me a while to let them sort their shit and I get my Bronco fix while i wait.
I decided today, I’m not buying this for creature comforts so the heck with the packages. I’m deciding between BaseManSquatch and BD. Really wanted the MGV, but it might go by the wayside too.

The issue with manual transmission and the Mid package is the remote start. I remain convinced that come time to place an order you and I will be able to get the Mid minus the remote start.
I'm convinced they already offer it on the manual Badlands and has been the plan since the reveal.... so it already exists....so to speak.

Ford may be purposefully trying to lower MT take rate.
What probably ends up happening is upping the BaseManSquatch take rate.... that's my move.
Even just bumping up to Big Bend tacks on another 5g for the OPTION of getting the Mid package.
So, 6500 bucks for the mid package....if it were made available to 7spd buyers after the 5g in Squatch also.
At that point, Badlands starts to make more sense.

Statistically speaking, not all of us with reservations will live long enough to see a bronco in person. There isn't a strong enough reason to allow ourselves to become hysterical... Yet
WTF??? I'm going to die soon???? THAT IS the reason to become hysterical!!! LOL

Levine verified ManSquatch awhile ago, Ford just said it would be a late availability. I'm chalking it up to a late change and B&P doesn't reflect it yet.
Ford actually stated they are keeping it off B&P until it is available.
Sounds like bull, but they probably just didn't have time to work it into the B&P even with a "late availability" disclaimer...like they did for some F250 color all of 2020 so far.

So those of us manual fans still cannot build what they say they will sell us.

I'm a value shopper.
I've come to love the idea of saving 10k on a BaseManSquatch, the truck will have everything you , I or anyone needs in a basic offroader or daily driver. I'd love a Badlands, but right now, I'm not OK with the 48K build out.
The only thing I'd REALLY like is heated seats...but not for 10k.
Probably, the BaseManSquatch is the truck Ford DOES NOT want to sell you. I'll bet there's very little profit there.
Well according to build and price you can’t get a 4 door base with a manual either. I know there was a few threads here early on about it being a mistake listing the 4 door base as auto standard, but just went to build one and doesn’t even have the manual trans listed when on 4 door base. So seems yet again fords undercutting the manual trans.

It’s not a screw up, 100% intentional on fords part. Badlands is the only one that can combine Mid & Manual.

If Ford took one little page out of the Jeep book, it would solve a lot of problems.
Not even Jeep’s playbook. They have a Cold Weather Package on a bunch of vehicles. I’ve ordered it on 4 new Fords. It’s ridiculous that they don’t offer it on the Bronco.

Can you create a poll to see how many people were wanting a mid or high package with a manual transmission? It would be nice to see the numbers.
Or how many people would have gotten manual transmission if they could get the 2.7L engine. I personally wanted that combination more than the packages.
