I change my own oil. 7 quarts full synthetic and filter for $60
I recall a big discussion on this site about the requirement being 6 quarts and not 7 for the broncos. (Although it doesn't sound like 7 is hurting you) - I have a 2.7 and use 6 quarts when I change the oil. 🤷‍♀️ Looks like Google yeilds that adding 7 might get the oil to overfill dipstick a tad.

I didn’t know there was a discrepancy that much. I know the owners manual changed it to 6 but when I first tried to run 6 it was low on my dipstick and 7 put it right on the marks. I didn’t feel comfortable with it reading low and have kept using 7 ever since. My Raptor also took 7 so it was convenient to not think about it. Weird they would say 6 for the 2.7, the oil pans are the same as the 3.0.

I switched from Amsoil Signature series to Driven DI30. I’m custom tuned and pushing this little 2.3L. Not cheap though, over $100 and I change my self.

7 qts? You have a special oil pan that holds an additional quart?
Was always what it held. Dipstick shows low if I use 6. My Raptor had the same oil pan so no, nothing special just how it comes

There was also an oil dipstick change for the 6 qt change. At least there was for mine.

There are two different dipsticks out there just to add more confusion to the situation.

Eh I don’t have confusion really. Seems like they wanted to differentiate the Raptor for some reason. It was 7 quarts when it left the factory and that’s where it stays. And I’m not changing out dipsticks lol

How much do you pay for an oil change? Went to my local dealership and it was $104. I guess it is time to find somewhere else to change it.
My last one was $54.95 at the Ford dealer where I bought my Bronco. Usually if I ask the service guys they'll hook me up with some kind of coupon deal they've got going. It's also nice to get a free vehicle wash as the dealer does a pretty good job. I still have quite a few Ford points and am continually getting more with the new credit card. So far I haven't paid for any oil changes and just use points...

I'm still using Ford points at the dealer. Had a bunch from our '22 (it was totaled) and got a bunch more from when we bought the '25. I never "paid" for an oil change, I mean other than 90K buying both Broncos.

About 60 bucks with synthetic blend. On my F150 they also install a new drain plug every time for that price.

Costco's website does not say that Kirkland Signature Full Synthetic 5w30 meets Fords oil specification for the Bronco 2.7L, WSS-M2C961-A1 . Do you have information that says it does?
"Kirkland Signature Full Synthetic 5W-30 motor oil aligns with the Ford WSS-M2C961-A1 specification, as it meets the required API SP and ILSAC GF-6A standards"

May I ask the source of your quote?

Motorcraft oil at Walmart $25-27. Oil filters bought in bulk from Walmart. $6 per filter. 20 minutes in my garage while listening to tunes. Free. Old oil gets taken to local County collection center no charge.
