Ok, so except for the obvious that the Wildtrak has HOSS 3.0, what other differences would there be between a Wildtrak and a Big Bend with Mid and Squatch. I know I'd lose access to the high package... So the debate in my mind is can I live without the High package and HOSS 3.0 (at a savings of about $6k after tax if I don't take the signature lights for $725).

Build was:
Wildtrak
High
HD Modular Bumper
Tow
Door Keypad
Door Bags

Build would be:
Big Bend (or maybe Black Diamond)
V6
Mid
Squatch
HD Modular Bumper
Tow
Door Keypad
Door Bags

Not sure what features I'd be missing (upfitter switches?) Anything else?

Thanks, I did build it with the V6 (which forces the auto), just forgot to list it above...(just edited to add it)

I was really set on HOSS 3.0 and was convincing myself about the high package...but it looks like I could probably get it a lot sooner if I can live without those....shocks can be swapped but the upgraded steering rack (I wouldn't upgrade the tie rods without that) is the big thing.

You don't get the ugly seat covers with the BB. But you do get the black beauty rings with the WT. That's it honestly. That's why they added the HOSS 3.0 to make it a truly different trim.

If that's the case, ask yourself if the Mid package is worth $4300 to you......... Because the difference between a Base/Sas/2.7 and a BB/Sas/2.7/mid is $5k and you are only getting about $700 worth of stuff (rear tint/grab handle/leather wrapped steering wheel) going to the BB.

I think at this point, most of the stuff is cosmetic, WT gets all the gloss black accents and the obvious interior differances. WT is a slippery slope, you go that route, you will be like most of us with the WT builds, fully loaded to the max :ROFLMAO:

I have a loaded BB. I had planned to upgrade to the WT, but after seeing the sand interior in person…that’s a no from me, dawg. I’m boring, I love the all grey interior.

Also consider interior trim and accent colors vs what exterior color you like. For me, not all interiors “go with” all exterior colors.

I’ve heard stories from people that removed stuff to get their’s sooner, and regretting t once they got it. This is my wife’s vehicle and she was willing to wait to get what she wanted, so we stuck with WT so she could get the High/Lux packages. After pricing the cost to add the things she wanted, it was easier just to get it from factory with warranty. Would have been completely different if it was my vehicle.

Wheels, suspension ,towing, are things that can be easily added afterwards. Interior material/colors, package level options are not easily altered.
