Yeah I don't understand that. Like mentioned, I've had this exact phone mount and magsafe charging head for years now 🤷‍♂️ maybe that one is newer and they changed something?

If I had to guess, theyre probably sourcing that specific head elsewhere, but they dont reply to messages so it leaves me a little weary of purchasing from them. Like if you can't reply to an email, can i trust youll actually fulfill my order?

are you using the knockoff? Are there magsafe charging heads available that will work with it (whatever the ball mount size is)?
I am using the tackform dashboard mount. But I am pretty sure this uses a 17mm ball (common ball size). You can get many different phone mounts (claw, clips, magnets) for a 17mm ball.

Maybe it's just me, but I've found the safest 'mount' for my phone is safely tucked in my pocket. If not for CarPlay, I wouldn't even take calls in the car.

Driving back and forth to work, almost every other driver I see is looking at or manipulating their phone in some manner and NY was one of the first states to ban Cell phone use while driving. Even worse is when I see a driver looking at their phone going 50MPH in traffic with a teenaged (or younger) passenger in the car. This new generation will not be able to drive safely anymore because they're SO involved in everything BUT driving.

Quad Lock adhesive mount with wireless charging head. Portrait or landscape with just a turn.

Not sure the point of these types of responses. Sure everyone is entitled to their opinion but how is that relevant?
I'm assuming the people who are looking for a mount spend a good amount of time in their broncos. I commute 1+ hours each day. I utilize wireless carplay which makes the phone very hot and uses a lot of battery. So I am looking for a mount that i can utilize to charge the phone (preferably wirelessly as well). So the mount I am looking for is not for a window or dashboard and i dont care if it's in my line of sight or not. Ideally is out of direct sunlight... because my current magsafe charger is on the dashboard and the phone will not charge when it is too hot (from wireless carplay and sunlight).
So yeah, "in my pocket" isnt exactly the mount I'm looking for.
