Can you show me your connection to the battery under the red cover and did you need to trim the cover?
Sorry for the late response, just got home from Drummond Island. I did notch the side of the cover (bottom black piece)

What color did you paint the “Smittybuilt?”Went back and forth on the subject. Should I remove the modular bumper? Should I go with factory, JCR, Rough Country? Sorry Mabett. Your timeline to manufacturing is too long. I decided price was gonna be the defining factor. How far it sticks out, approach angle and other factors weren’t that different.
Rough Country High Winch Mount:
I will say the instructions aren’t that great. I found it much easier to install the bottom half of the mount first. was having a tough time balancing the weight of the mount and winch to attach it to the bumper. Mounting the bottom half gave me room to get my hands in there as well. Then I mounted the winch to the plate. I followed up by wiring it, then mounting the top plate to the bottom half. The instructions also call for shaving down the back of the sensor they provide. This was not the case with the winch I chose. I think each winch will differ in that step.
Smittybilt Winch:
Pretty cut and dry. I just wired the longer cables before I bolted the plate down. It’s tough to work behind the RC mount, it’s pretty tight to the grill. Removed all the decals and painted the “Smittybilt” and the switch for free spool.

Control Box Relocation:
I decided to mount it to the lid of the fuse box. Was a simple install and it wasn't going to eat up space on the other side of the motor. Saving that for ARB compressor and maybe train horn. I used the Warn kit. Only needed the cables and black rubber boots.

I used flat Black so it matched the rest of the winch.
This is with the decals and no paint. The word “Smittybilt” and toggle are the only thing I painted. Ignore the RC on the ground. I didn’t go that route.

A few modifications on my install….
Removed the sensor brackets, cut out RC logo for front facing camera (Nakita), and installed Naviks box for factory screen integration.
RC really nailed the design on this one. Really works well with the mod bumper for a near OE look.

Any pics of what the camera view is? I'm definitely getting this mount and will be doing the camera relocation but was curious if it needs to be angled down or not. Your install looks flat.A few modifications on my install….

Alright I need to hear more about the naviks. I saw the YouTube and I wasn’t sure they actually had the device working. Any glitches? What activates it? Does the head unit natively switch to the video stream when you power up the front camera?To be clear, this is an aftermarket camera (Nakita) on a Basesquatch. So far the Naviks box has worked flawlessly. The supplied harness has the trigger wire for the camera built in. The front camera is activated by holding the instrument cluster menu button for 7 sec. There is an audible beep when engaging and the camera pops up on screen, stays on at all speeds and gears (less reverse), until you hold the menu button again to disable.
Pain to install given the dash has to be disassembled quite far to access the interface plug, otherwise very happy with the Naviks box and Nakita camera.

I can not find out how much space is between the bottom of the crossbar and top of the bumper but feels like it would be close to working.I used flat Black so it matched the rest of the winch.

I can’t be 100% sure, but i have a few shots with a tape measure. It for sure has to be 7.5” from the grill TL the back of the bar. Check my photos for the other measurements.

Did you figure out if Sarge’s winch/mount would work with your TC Bronco/mod bumper ?Not sure why you would know this but worth a shot. Do you think your set up would work with the pre runner from TC Bronco? I installed the RC high mount last weekend . I went with the comeup seal slim 9.5. It fit great without having to trim down the sensor holders.
I didn’t have time to trim the plastic bumper trim caps. That will have to wait until my next visit.
i used the JCR camera relocation and yankum ropes fairlead. I removed all the metal and carry a couple soft shackles.
Oh, I need to pretension the line, too.
Edit: Badlands Sasquatch LUX. Parking, ACC, lane keep, and all other sensors work.
