Received unexpected order cancellation email from Ford

Anyone else receive the following from Ford?:

​ Refund Information Below​ ​ Since we didn't receive your 2023 Ford Bronco SUV® reservation conversion by the previously-communicated deadline of November 21st, your chance to journey into the wild has come to an end. Your 2021 Bronco reservation has expired and your deposit will be refunded in 20 business days to reimburse you for your reservation deposit. If you have any questions about your reservations, please contact your dealer. We appreciate your interest and hope we have the opportunity to welcome you to the Bronco Family in the future.​ ​

Despite having converted my order to MY23, COVP, a purchase order, and having a follow-up call with Ford at the time to verify that everything was eligible for scheduling along with a PP certificate, a reservation cancellation email?

That doesn't surprise me at all. Ford is so disorganized it is amazing.
I just recieved my Bronco and absolutely love it but the process really sucks. I'm sure you can get this taken care of.
Good luck, it's worth all the hassle you go through to drive this amazing truck.

It appears Ford updated their website yesterday or today. My second reservation (unconverted to a '23) finally shows "cancelled" as of 01/23/2023. Cutoff was the aforementioned 11/21/2022.

Based on the OP’s picture, looks to be a dealer issue, not a Ford issue.

Possible. Best to contact your dealer ASAP. This is something that needs to be cleared up and fast. Hopefully its all a misunderstanding and you get it sorted. I'd be so mad if my order went buhbye aster after so long without ME being the one to cancel it.

Are you certain your order was linked to your reservation? I'm betting your dealer is staffed by morons who just threw a new order into the system at some point without bothering to link it to your reservation.

I think it is, the reservation number matches the order number on the Ford site ... which also matches the PP certificate. Even called Ford to verify that the dealer had the order entered. Wonder if they set it to priority 99 or something? The tracker seems to indicate that it's normal at the moment. Just this email out of the blue.

Thanks all for the thoughts, will try the dealer again in the AM. I'm thinking this is a another Ford glitch, the dealer improperly had a couple of orders, or some sort a fat fingering.

Boatloads of work and BS to deal with when ordering from Ford.
