I was never part of the group that thought they were referring to the dash material. I've always felt it had something to do with what features are part of the gauge cluster.

But since I never once thought about going with anything under an OBx, ever really cared as much.

I was never part of the group that thought they were referring to the dash material. I've always felt it had something to do with what features are part of the gauge cluster.

But since I never once thought about going with anything under an OBx, ever really cared as much.

The information posted to BN is that it was referring to dash materials and they are all the same now.

It was not specific enough to know whether lower trims get higher dash materials, or vice versa.

Yeah.. I wouldn't put money on it, but I still think there is going to be some cool features that the lower trims don't get in the guages. For their sake, I hope they do get it all. Or maybe Ford decided to keep it simple and do them all the same.

I know in my car, the higher trim got a totally different gauge cluster that the lower ones...but it's not a Ford.

Yeah, they refer to the dash as the “IP” which is short for Instrument panel… but I don’t recall them ever mentioning a “high level” anything.

I’m happy to be proven wrong, but I don’t want to do the work of rewatching that entire video just to confirm I’m correct.

I couldn't tell any difference between the BD and OBX today. Same feel and sound. The door card upper pad was different though, BD matched the dash material and OBX was MGV wrapped.

So has it been 100% confirmed that cloth seats won't be electric? Why won't they be in a LUX pkg? I have cloth seats in other Ford vehicles and they are electric.

Because water will soak into the electronics if you are topless.
