I've got PPF with vinyl wrap on top. A few rocks actually busted through the vinyl and slightly through the PPF. Paint ok... But with these being quick release, I'll get them and just slap them on coming home from trails.Am I the only one who does not like the look of mud flaps?
I’m PPF mine on Tuesday.
This is from ours. The vinyl is thicker than the PPF under it, but it was enough to keep the paint from chipping. It broke through PPF on the middle chip. Without the vinyl, the PPF wouldn't have saved the paint. I agree the mudflaps don't add to the look, but it's the only way to further protect your paint or graphics at this point.I’m just looking for first hand accounts pics of video of chips through ppf and chipping paint. Everyone says there’s proof but no one can show me the thread pics vids as evidence.
If there’s evidence I’d love to see it.
I have a Badlands non-Sas on order. I'm thinking I just need the Original vs the XL, but not sure if i should get the 'Long' or not. I guess for max protection get the 'Long' ones?
The long will certainly protect farther back, but I think most here won’t like the look on non SAS. Maybe they’ll offer separate replacement flaps later.I have a Badlands non-Sas on order. What company, how thick is it?This is from ours. The vinyl is thicker than the PPF under it, but it was enough to keep the paint from chipping. It broke through PPF on the middle chip. The costs of everything is going up and its just gonna get worse. So when did these become exotics? For every item released for the Bronco the price is outrageous. These are just some mudflaps and they want $400 for a set. GTFO. Dont even bring up those Gator backs. Those are stupidly priced and one of the ugliest things I have ever seen for a car/truck
