Spot on. With my Falcon shocks I can drop to a really soft “1” setting for trails and rocks and back up to “2.4” for every day driving and up to a super stiff “3” if it’s crazy windy or I’m carrying a heavy load. It makes a big difference. So much that I frequently forget to change it back when leaving the trails and the jeep quickly reminds me to pull over and flip the switches. I feel like Bilstein could make a killing if they released a variable valve setup that matches the stock HOSS valving at its middle setting. If that was adjustable from the dash or even just with a knob inside… just take my wallet. Then it rides bad when not loaded for everyday use. Adjustable suspensions allow to tune back and forth the rebound and compression damping depending on load.
So that's what I meant by adjustable.
