Hey, I ordered a 2dr base, should I add on the brush guard and heavy-duty modular bumper? Or are those in limited stock?

Maybe bumper. I wouldn't on the brush guard. I only say bumper, as I am not sure of any complications adding it after.

Zach or Rick probably know, those two know about everything, along with other less prolific posters.

Edited for spelling.

Yes, add it now, probably Sasquatch too. It won’t delay it at all, I promise!

j/k I probably wouldn’t change anything at this point but I’m superstitious.

I wouldn't change a thing, either. Not this late in the game and things up in the air.
You probably are safe with a bumper, but I'd still be conservative with the changes. Especially if you know you are in the '21 delivery window camp.
After-the-fact or even aftermarket will be ripe with options very soon.
I'd get it in my possession and worry about the add-ons later on.

Yea I was thinking the same thing, I don't like how the brush guard covers up the bronco lettering anyway.

I wasn't sure, but I asked a buddy of mine, and he said to go for it!

Those Texas armadillos won't stand a chance

My modular bumper will be up for sale the second someone offers a decent hidden winch solution.

So there is that too. I am sure I am not the only one.

I would wait for the massive aftermarket with certified parts that work with all the sensors, etc. You will find something awesome I'm sure.

I can think of 1 million things I'd rather do than call up my Ford dealer and request he adjust my order right now. Id think about it in the meantime, wait for aftermarket options to pop up, decide upon delivery.

Yes, change it to a mod top so it free's up a mic top to move me one bronco closer.

LOL

When I placed my order, I went into it with a mentality of "no changes can be made." I realize this isn't the case until a VIN is assigned, however I didn't want to jeopardize my order by making changes. What if there's a keying error or something? Not worth it - I put all my effort in when I placed my initial order.

Also, I wouldn't remove any options just to potentially move my order ahead - I know I'd be happy to get it sooner, but long-term would regret not getting an option or different colour just because I'm impatient.

But that warranty 😔
Think about it this way:
It is a hard part, bolted on.
What's to fail (other than the finish, which may/may not even be covered)?
If it was a mechanical or electrical part I personally could see some value in having the warranty on it.
At least, that's my perspective on it.
You do you.
If it were me, I would tread lightly on anything that could impact my delivery or muck up the waters...If you are a '21 model recipient.
'22 model? Go for it!
