For this idiot, there is something called a forecast, it is on your phone and news, might want to pay attention next time and close your top. Duh!

Iā€™m in Arizona, where soft tops make sense. We do have the occasional haboob and monsoon to worry about, but Iā€™ve had convertibles and soft tops all my life with no issues.
Where this guy lives youā€™d have to be crazy to own a soft top.

for those arguing about how secure the soft top is. Granted this is an extreme case with the winds involved.
That's pretty crazy, I wonder how fast he was driving too.

As seen on FB - Snow gets inside a Bronco

To

What the owner said on the Facebook post:
The snow is coming in where the soft top meets the frame. The driver side is facing westward. We had west wind gusts of 80+km/hr yesterday. What u see is the results. Everything was shut properly. I'm not going to spend 70g and leave windows slightly open in a forecasted blizzard.

Not sure about this video, but others I know have said around 75-80 mph on highway the side seals sometimes start to flutter and make noise. Iā€™m not saying thatā€™s enough to let a pile of snow in, but itā€™s certainly not securely fastened from end to end. Itā€™s two pieces of weather stripping being held together by tension.
