Ok, it's currently 10/2/21. I have a reservation date of 7/18/20 and order date of 1/20/21 for a 2dr Widtrak with Lux, tow pkg, leather, etc. 3rd in line at my local dealership as well. I haven't received any news or emails of getting anything built this year yet. Is there still ANY hope? Can I still potentially receive a "good news" email from Ford for a MY21?

You would think so, given your stats, but since you have not received a VIN yet, that is not a great sign. 7/18 is not terribly late, but there are a lot of 7/13 and 7/14 reservations who are just getting build dates, or have VINs but no date yet, so that does not bode well. I would not give up, but also would not hold my breath. Sorry to hear.

From what I understand your last shot at getting scheduled for a 21 is next week. If not you’re probably looking at 22.

Have you asked your dealer? Ford isnt great with the e-mails.

I do believe all the model year 21 slots are taken, but that is almost trivial. You could end up with an early 2022 and still get it by mid Jan.

I’d say with that date, where we currently are now, and the dearth of Wildtrak orders that have been fulfilled as of yet, you’ll most likely be out of luck for a ‘21.
