Didn’t the OP only ask for the essentials if they chose to delete the spare? Maybe I missed the part about wanting to discuss the decision of deleting it... I’ll go back and read again

Forgive my confusion
EXACTALLY!!!
I NEVWER asked for peoples opinion on delete/keep the spare.
I only wanted advise on the best kit of tools to have if you delete the spare.
This thread devolved with all these weird off topic comments....

I get that. But how often during "daily driving" are you far enough away from your house that wouldn't want to have to rely on a tow, Uber, or patch job?
thats not the topic

Yep - prolly does!
I wonder if there is an advantage to buying all this stuff separately, to get higher quality components. I guess this would potentially never be used....
I cant remember the last time I had a flat.
Maybe better to just buy a value kit like this, throw it in the back someplace.
That is always the dilemma. Will the cheap one work the ONE time I need it or should I get quality parts and maybe never use it? Basically the same question you ask yourself while shopping at Harbor Freight.

Carry an axe and use it to chop down a 35” diameter tree. Make your own wheel. 😉

Precisely. I could easily spend $200 on a cool compact compressor....
But, I have a massive compressor at home.
And my off road time I will never likely air down.
So, while I'm a tool need and want the best quality..... I would realistically never use it.
Honestly the ask is for a solution to an almost never occurring incident

again its not to "look cool" - its for functional reasons, not wanting to lug around a giant tire, not wanting a giant tire on the tail gate.
* I think people that keep spares on their tail gate, do it to "look cool" - because they are almost never used...

Done dozens of plugs in the tread and usually they lasted the life of the tire
I have plugged sidewalls with 3 plugs and got home, but when I got to 6 on one tire it only went a mile or so.
Just bought this to throw in the tool kit. Have no idea how good it is, but could be better than nothing.

I'm considering deleting the spare as well, or relocating it to behind the driver's side rear seat like the old Cherokees. It might barely fit from the (4 door) measurements and definitely not look great I'd think. Or would a thinner version of the full size spare not be a bad idea?

Never owned a Jeep. 95% of the time it'll be my daily driver. I definitely want to retain the full size spare on trips though so even if I did relocate or delete, I'd probably have a bumper tire carrier for said trips.

Thoughts?

Have fun with that 15" long bracket/camera pole sticking out the back.
Aren't you concerned somebody will take it?

I mean, taking all 15" should be video taped because they will be jumping all over the back of your Bronco to try and get that thing off, only to find out it's just a camera stalk....

What are we talking about and how do you know it's 15"? Has anybody used an independent tape measure to get an accurate measurement of the camera stalk length?

Well it exceeds the sasquatch tire (12.4" depth)..slightly...as shown in photos. And the bronco lengths are all identical, so that makes sense that the fixed camera pole is considered the "end" of the truck. Also, the sasquatch tire isnt snug to the tailgate, there's probably a solid inch gap. Add all that up, and its 14-15".
