Spare set of tie rods?

I have a SAS OBX and was planning on upgrading the tie rods to the Icons. After a little research and no plans to run 37’s, I decided to keep the stock tie rods. I would like a spare set just incase. Should I just grab a OEM set as a spare or upgrade and carry the stock as spares. Wheeling New England trails in ME, NH and VT so little rock crawling expected.

I carry a factory spare I bought from cj pony. Large crescent wrench and clamps from Amazon. TD was sold out at the time. To me, it’s just another piece of safety/recovery gear. I’m a very old former Boy Scout.

Ordered my kit yesterday. I have no plans to ever need it but if someday I need it I will sure be happy to have it!

I have enough tools so I just grabbed a Moog tie rod off Amazon.

I misjudged demand and will probably be sold out again here very soon. At least specialty tools are not required to do the job and anyone can put something together on their own.
