I'm curious if they had the intention of giving the Bronco Intelligent ACC, but then decided against it for some reason. Would make sense for all the misinformation on Ford's side. Who knows though
I think that is exactly it. Just like there were several Ford documents that mentioned the upgraded instrument panel for lux package, but that ended up being Raptor only. It’s tied to the version of co-pilot assist you have, and Bronco ended up being co-pilot assist 360 only.

As it should. We were discussing how it recognizes it though.

Tape something on your windshield to block the camera.
If it still works then you know it is GPS based.

They probably figured they already had enough reasons for Broncos to come back to dealers for warranty work, why have another?!?! :D

Mine has the wrong speed limits on county roads and smaller roads. state roads and interstate highways are correct. I found in the manual that says go to here.com to report map discrepancies. I went to the website and was able to make an account, and all the road that showed 30 on my bronco was matching up to the maps recorded speeds. I was able to submit adjustments but couldn't select exact speeds so put them as close as I could then emailed. I'm pretty sure it goes of of GPS. Unless you have the co-pilot 360 plus or newer.

Maybe I'm missing something... but uhh.... speed sign reader? What's that?
It’s the display on your screen that links to the map tells you the speed limit in the area you are driving in

I love the sign thing - it's off for sure. Or maybe I drive too fast.

He was wrong. That’s how just about every other top trim Ford does it, but Bronco is NAV only.
TBH, why should I believe you other than one of the actual real-life, shook hands, Ford engineers who built it?

TBH I don’t really care, feel free to believe him. I just thought it was funny the guy who built it is so wrong. Makes it even more strange that they left this common feature out of the Bronco.

Wonder if they jumped the gun on the actual functional part. Might have the correct hardware (IPM and cameras) just don't have the software built in yet. I know that's kind of wishful thinking but they're putting the blue cruise hardware on and forcing you to get the subscription to use it. Maybe this is going to be one of those things down the road?

Yeah I would guess the feature will be included in a future model year.
