Well my "dealer" is my cousin, who is the Sr. GM of the dealership group I'm buying from. It helps.

He told me 2 weeks but possibly faster. Thankfully the MAP to Columbus route is direct convoy, instead of taking rail to a distribution yard for convoy pickup.

So two weeks is a good estimate. Time to look for plane tickets!

I just heard from my dealer that my Bronco got built today!!!!!!!! I haven't felt this way since my first child was born.

LOL True story. I have given my "Bronco Specialist" a bit of information that I have gotten from here (mostly from you Ross LOL).

I'm beyond pumped...my build hit the assembly line yesterday. 4DR, OBX, Soft, Tow.

I called today and have the same — lets go!

Depends on a lot of things, but build day can be assigned anywhere from a month to a week out from the build week. Right now I have Build dates for orders in weeks 6/28,7/5,7/12, and 7/19. Nothing beyond that.

FWIW start of production is actually about a week before final assembly when it gets sent to plant. I have a couple of customer orders being built for FA Week of 6/21.

Me reading about all these people that have VIN’s and build dates and are still complaining:

What about those people who have already been forced into 22 because something Ford listed as an option in B&P is now 22? 99’ers are mostly there because something slipped, not “well I feel like waiting”. How does Ford discern between those already screwed into 2022 from those about to be screwed into 2022 from the I’ll just wait and see crowd?

So I will wait for a MIC top.

Fill non code 99 orders first, then 21 orders pushed to 22 through constraints, then start 22 orders code 99 first.

Does that make my point a bit clearer??

Yeah, I see your point, but most of the 99’ers were just screwed earlier. That includes Mansquatch by the way, it wasn’t in B&P but was announced as available and the. moved to 2022 in December.

Most of this is of course is around the top fiasco. I’ve also heard they didn’t plan for the two door take rate, so two doors will be constrained.

So I respectfully disagree, and think original reservation order is the most fair way of doing this.

My question is - if I have a priority code 19 on my order, does that indicate that I might still get a MY21 in calendar year 21? or am I definitely SOL? My reservation was converted on 06/09/2021 08:52:23

James if you just placed your order 9 days ago, it sounds as if you can expect a 2022 vehicle 3rd or 4rth quarter 2022, maybe first quarter 2023. Code 19 doesn't mean boo right now for that order date. Just think though, you will have the luxury of some new 2022/23 features.
