Love the new base Landcruiser but at 55k msrp is missing a lot of features as compared with an already overpriced bronco badlands:
1. Cloth interior is really unacceptable at this price range. Badlands MGV looks far better

2. front swaybar disconnect
3. Front locker
4. Steel front and back bumpers
5. 35 inch wheels / tire setup vs 245s that come on the base.
6. Bilstein position sensitive shocks vs normal set up
there is Atleast 7-10k difference in value on top an already overpriced bronco badlands.

I bet the build quality, reliability, and resale value will be much better with the Toyota.
It will also be plenty capable for most people most of the time.
I agree that both are overpriced but so is most everything else these days.

The outgoing gx with fantastic interior , v8, 3 row seating, sunroof, sway bar disconnect and the same offroad features as the landcruiser can be had for 55k with a little negotiation at the moment. I donā€™t see why this car is priced higher than the outgoing 4runner trd offroad model at ~45k

They Defendered the Landcruiser. Anyone looking at that and thinking it's worthy of its namesake has no soul

Two different vehicles that I wouldnā€™t compare capabilities side by side. The LC would be more of an overlander if you think about how itā€™s built. Stock ground clearance is about 8.7 on the base LC?

but for what it is I think the LC will be a great vehicle for those looking for what it is. For me Iā€˜d still want something more offroad capable. :)

My badlands was only 3 grand more than my base sasquatch so I'm not sure what your calling overpriced.

I bet resale will be comparable. Toyota
Jeep and now Bronco have fanboys that will pay anything for em used or new.
I am happy the Land Cruiser is back. More completion the better

That's now. 5-10-15 years down the road remains to be seen. The Bronco could be the automotive equivalent to bell bottoms.

I think people need to stop using the term "overpriced". It's not overpriced if it's flying off the shelves. It's not overpriced if it costs the same or less than its competitions. Things are worth what people will pay and inflation has made everything cost more. The Bronco is overpriced compared to what? To what you paid for a Jeep in 2011?

That's Bronco Sport level of ground clearance on a longer wheelbase. I expected much better than that.

Correct me if I am wrong but aren't all the 2024 Land Cruisers going to have a hybrid powertrain which makes comparing them to an existing ICE Badlands moot? I know that the Jeep Wrangler 4xE's are much more expensive than the regular Wranglers and Ford does not yet offer a hybrid Bronco trim.

Yes they are, but you need to stop bringing logic into this emotional argument. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
